We are going on the road for this week’s Pura Vida. We are going to attend the Silver Ring Thing at Faith Promise this Sunday night from 6:00 – 8:30 pm. The Silver Ring thing is a conference on sexual purity that has been going on for some time now. The cost to attend the conference is $5.00. If you want to purchase a ring, the cost of the ring is $20. We will leave the church at 5:30 and return by 9:00.

Hey, I love the title "Pura Vida"! I had no idea what the phrase meant, of course, and creating curiosity is a great thing. I googled it, and found a literal translation, and also a Wikipedia article on the Costa Rican cultural phrase. Awesome.
